Five-Alarm Fixes is a locally owned handyman service founded by dedicated firefighter Jacob Myers, committed to serving the community both on and off duty. We provide reliable, high quality solutions for projects big and small, from everyday repairs to larger home improvements. Built on trust, integrity, and craftsmanship, our mission is to help our neighbors feel safe and confident in their homes.

About Jacob

Jacob was born and raised in Little Chute, Wisconsin, and has built his life around serving the community he’s always called home. Most people know him as “Cheese”, a nickname that stuck long ago and fits his friendly, approachable personality perfectly. As a firefighter and handyman, he brings the same reliability, work ethic, and steady presence to your home that he brings to every shift on duty.

When he’s not tackling projects, you’ll probably find him enjoying a classic Wisconsin supper club (he’ll absolutely say he’s going to get a steak and then order fish every time), sipping an old fashioned, or spending time up north with his family. He also loves to garden… though every year just turns into a tomato surplus. And if the Brewers are playing, he’s cheering them on.

At the end of the day, Jacob believes in showing up, doing the job right, and treating people like neighbors, because that’s exactly what they are.
